Sega has been out of the platform business for quite some time, but the company is still coming up with new systems to this day. It has just recently released a line of laptops, that are available in Japan through online retailer Ebten via Kotaku. Each one comes with a different visual theme - Vanilla Sega, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast - and each theme is available at four different prices.
Your options, in descending order, are Premium, High Spec, Standard, and Light. The minimum cost for one is just over $1000 and the maximum is a little over $2000, with the internal hardware obviously scaling up as the cost rises. This is an import-only option for now, so its probably just a nerd fantasy for most of us. Sega seems like it would hold the most beautiful laptops in our modern world. I would love to get my hands on one.
